As a Live-In Carer at Home Instead, you'll play a vital role in helping clients maintain their independence and comfort within their own homes.
This position is perfect for compassionate, patient, and committed individuals who are eager to make a meaningful impact on the lives of others.
Primary Responsibilities: Daily Living Support: Assist clients with essential daily tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, ensuring their personal hygiene and dignity are preserved.
Medication Management: Oversee and administer medications according to prescriptions, ensuring clients stay on track with their medication schedules.
Companionship: Offer emotional support and engage clients in enriching activities and conversations to enhance their overall well-being.
Meal Preparation: Prepare and serve nutritious meals that cater to clients' dietary requirements and preferences.
Household Maintenance: Handle light housekeeping duties, such as cleaning and laundry, to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
Mobility Support: Assist clients with mobility challenges, including the use of mobility aids and helping with transfers from bed to chair.
Care Coordination: Collaborate with healthcare professionals, care managers, and family members to create and implement personalized care plans.
Health Monitoring: Monitor clients' health and promptly report any changes or concerns to care managers or healthcare providers.
Emergency Preparedness: Be ready to respond to emergencies, provide first aid, and contact emergency services as needed.

Qualifications Experience: Prior experience in live-in caregiving or healthcare roles is beneficial but not mandatory; comprehensive training will be provided.
