Company Description Transform your spare time into moments of meaning and discover work-life balance that truly fulfils you at Home Instead Preston and South Ribble.
Are you the dependable friend that everyone turns to?
The one who listens, offers a shoulder, and knows just what to say?
That's more than just being a good friend-that's having the heart of a Care Professional.

For us, it's not about having a CV packed with care experience; it's about the kind of person you are.
At Home Instead, we value people like you because you have a rare set of skills: genuine kindness, empathy and oodles of patience.
If you've ever thought your natural talents are going unnoticed, think again.
You're exactly the kind of person who can make a difference.
We are rated GOOD by the Care Quality Commission.
Job Description So, what's the job really about?

Well, imagine popping by to help Mrs. Smith start her day.
One moment you're assisting her out of bed and helping her choose an outfit, and the next, you're sharing a cuppa and a natter as she enjoys her breakfast.
Later, you might be off to Mr. Jones' to make sure he's got his medication sorted and a hot meal on the table.
Maybe a quick tidy-up, or a trip to the shops is on the cards as well.
But here's the special bit.
You're not just a helper; you're a lifeline, a listener, and often, a good laugh!
Our visits are never less than an hour, allowing plenty of time to provide quality care without feeling rushed.
You ensure all of your clients are comfortable and safe to enable them to stay independent in their own homes.
Interested in training?
Home Instead is a step above the rest.
Our in-house trainer delivers many hours of training to our team each year.
Its not just about ticking boxes; it's about elevating your skills and boosting your confidence to enable you to provide high quality care.
We ensure you're supported at every stage and you can earn professional qualifications too!
And we're a team that likes to have fun too.
We celebrate each other's achievements and have regular team meetings and coffee and chats.
We even get out into the local community hosting Companionship Cafes, Dementia talks and gift giving schemes!
"I used to be a Teacher.
I loved the work but knew that I needed a change.
I now work with such kind and considerate people, and every day my clients make me smile and the support team really do look after you.
I love this role and would definitely recommend enquiring if you are interested in a rewarding career and don't worry if you haven't got any experience, as the training is amazing! "
