This role is based in Farnborough, Hampshire with 2 days per week in the office.
Our office is within walking distance of the train station and has free parking.
This is a full-time position, however work life balance is important to us and so we are open to discussion on flexible working patterns (minimum 4 days per week).
Salary: £25,000 About the role: You will maintain effective communication with our international hoteliers and suppliers, ensuring the seamless operation of our holiday services.
With your passion for travel, you'll help curate exceptional experiences for our customers while using our core system (Mythos).
Collaborating with various departments across the business, you'll ensure that hotels and other suppliers are consistently updated with accurate and timely booking information, contributing to smooth and memorable travel experiences for all.
Maintaining clear and consistent communication with hoteliers and suppliers to ensure seamless booking confirmations within their systems.
Addressing and resolving queries in a timely manner.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with our hoteliers and suppliers to support ongoing collaboration.
Managing the availability in our system to ensure it's aligned with our hoteliers and suppliers.
Maintenance of our messaging system to control which notifications are sent.
Supporting the Reservations department with availability requests outside of the system to meet customer needs.
Booking pre-bookable holiday extras via third-party websites and updating our system with accurate reference numbers and details.
Collaborating with contractors to identify and address issues, helping to prevent future problems.
Am I the right person?
We are looking for your application to demonstrate: Experience working with Microsoft Office programmes such as Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams and Word.
Experience working with database/IT systems.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail as you will be responsible for updating live system data.
Ability to work under pressure, handling challenging situations with a calm and problem-solving approach.
Effective time management skills, with the ability to prioritise key tasks, deadlines, and demands based on the business needs.
Flexibility in managing your workload, adjusting to peak and quiet periods to stay ahead of demand and maintain efficiency.
Excellent communication skills, enabling you to confidently interact with our hoteliers and suppliers, via email and speaking on the telephone.
Understanding of processes, with the ability to manage end-to-end tasks, ensuring complex procedures are followed accurately.
Second language would be advantageous in this role but is not essential.
