HMO Coordinator Contract: Permanent / Full Time Salary: £23,500-£25,000 per annum depending on experience Hours: 37 hours per week (Mon-Fri) agile working Our Homes with Support department is a vital part of Squared.
We currently have a fantastic opportunity for an HMO Coordinator to join our HMO team providing comprehensive administration support.
The role: You will play an integral role in the HMO Department in partnership with the Service Managers, Team Leaders and the wider team.
You will provide the team with comprehensive administration support.
You will also assist with the smooth running of the office, managing customers benefit accounts and ensuring that the reputation and work of the department is of a high standard.
These are some of the things you will be responsible for in your role: Complete and manage Housing Benefit claims and/or change of circumstances when required and upload the relevant documents.
Complete and manage Housing benefit reconsiderations, new claims, and support with review forms if required Liaise with the local authority regarding Benefit queries and disputes.
Manage keys, and the access to those keys as required.
Work closely with the repairs team to place emergency and day to day repairs orders.
Manage all renewables for Customer hub and HMOs.
Performance reporting and data collection.
Prepare and manage documents to support the team scanning and uploading when required.
Take payments from tenants, cash handling and processing.
Supporting with management of customer rent accounts.
Manage HMO utilities where required.
Manage start/end of tenancy input on systems, paper and digital.
Take an active role in all team meetings and take minutes.
Update support monitoring tool, Inform, as required.
Understand and follow Squared Housing policies and procedures always, including Health and Safety, Fairness, Lone Working, SOVA and Child Protection.
Report any concerns as required under legislation and Local Authority procedures.
Working collaboratively with the Team Leader and Services Manager to ensure that customers always receive a consistent standard, a positive attitude and appropriate behaviour in the delivery of the service always.
Work collaboratively with other departments within Squared such as Repairs, Cleaning and Gardening and Finance departments.
Understand and follow Squareds policies and procedures always, including Health and Safety, Fairness, Lone Working, SOVA and Child Protection, reporting any concerns as required under legislation and Local Authority procedures.
Promote Squared services to the wider community.
