Job Type: Full time Job Location: Harlow School Setting: Alternative Provision / PRU Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent   REF: SENDIRECT/191632 Rate: £125-£156 per day Hours: 8:30–15:30 Start Date: Immediately   We are excited to offer an opportunity for a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a vibrant Alternative Provision / PRU in Harlow.
This role provides competitive daily rates of pay and the chance to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students who benefit from a more personalized approach to learning.
  As an HLTA, you will play a vital role in supporting students' education, helping to bridge gaps in learning and promoting positive behavior.
You will work closely with teaching staff to deliver tailored interventions and ensure students thrive academically and emotionally.
This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about education and eager to contribute to an inclusive learning environment.
Experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential, making this a fantastic opportunity for professionals looking to grow in an inspiring and supportive setting.
  Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver small group and one-to-one interventions under the guidance of teaching staff.
Assist in developing and adapting resources to meet individual learning needs.
Support students in overcoming barriers to learning and building confidence.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes mutual respect.
Monitor and report on student progress, providing feedback to staff and parents as needed.
Encourage and promote good behavior and engagement in learning activities.
Contribute to the planning and delivery of personalized education plans.
Qualifications and Experience: HLTA qualification or equivalent experience in an educational setting.
A strong understanding of supporting students with diverse needs.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, adaptability, and a proactive attitude.
Previous experience in an Alternative Provision or PRU is desirable but not essential.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
