Job Title: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) Working Hours: Full-time, 5 Days a Week Key Stages: Early Years / Key Stage 1 Location: Lancaster Salary: £18 per hour A vibrant and inclusive primary school, dedicated to nurturing young minds and creating a supportive environment for both staff and students are seeking a part-time Higher-Level Teaching Assistant.
They are looking for a passionate and experienced HLTA to join our team, supporting Early Years and KS1 pupils in achieving their full potential.
Role Responsibilities As an HLTA, you will: Plan and deliver engaging lessons under the direction of the class teacher.
Provide support to pupils in Early Years and KS1, fostering their social, emotional, and academic development.
Assist with classroom management and the preparation of learning materials.
Lead small group interventions to enhance pupil progress.
Cover classes in the absence of the teacher when required.
Support the implementation of the school curriculum and learning strategies.
Provide feedback to teachers and contribute to assessments.
Maintain a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.
