History Teacher Location : St Albans, Hertfordshire Start Date : January 2025 Salary : M1 to UPS3 Dependent upon experience Contract Type : Permanent Academics are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced History Teacher to work in a secondary school in St Albans.
This is a permanent position starting in January 2025.
About the Role : Teaching History across Key Stages 3, 4, and potentially Key Stage 5.
Creating engaging and well-structured lessons that inspire a passion for history.
Supporting students' academic progress and encouraging critical thinking.
Collaborating with the Humanities department and contributing to the wider school community.
Minimum Requirements : Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Previous experience teaching History in a secondary school setting.
A valid Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt lessons to meet the needs of all learners.
