Teaching Personnel is currently seeking a qualified history teacher for a well-regarded secondary school in Oldham, with a January 2024 start date.
This role is an excellent opportunity for educators seeking a rewarding position that has potential to transition into a permanent contract.
The Role: As a History Teacher, you will: Teach Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 history, creating engaging lessons that foster a love for learning.
Plan and deliver curriculum-aligned lessons that meet individual student needs.
Assess, monitor, and track student progress, contributing to their academic growth and success.
Engage students in critical thinking about historical events and contexts, while promoting discussion and analysis.
The Ideal Candidate: To succeed in this role, you will: Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a specialization in history.
Have experience teaching history within a UK secondary school setting.
Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and a passion for inspiring students to explore history.
Exhibit excellent classroom management skills, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
