Hire Equipment Test & Run Operative

Join our team!
In this role, you'll be responsible for testing and inspecting hire equipment to ensure it meets safety and quality standards before rental.
With attention to detail and a commitment to safety, you'll be able to provide high-quality equipment and help with general yard duties as required.
What you'll do: Perform thorough testing and inspection of equipment, to ensure they meet safety and performance standards.
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment to ensure they remain in optimal condition.
Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues and implement corrective actions.
Maintain accurate records of all tests, inspections, maintenance activities, and repairs performed on equipment.
Ensure that all documentation is complete and compliant with industry regulations.
Ensure that all equipment complies with safety regulations and standards.
General yard duties as required to include assisting with the loading and unloading of machinery.
What you'll need: Construction or agricultural experience would be desirable.
Preference will be given to candidates with a mechanical background.
Strong understanding of machinery and equipment and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and in a small team.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and equipment.

Hours of work: Monday - Thursday 7.30am - 5pm & Friday 7.30am - 4pm plus 1 Saturday every 3 weeks from 7.45am - 12.30pm Location: Castlereagh Salary: £11.50 - £13.50 per hour We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
