Higher Level Teaching Assistant with Physical Disabilities Focus Salary: circa £30,215 £31,864 (inclusive of Outer London Weighting) Job type: Full Time, Permanent Start date: December 2024 Location: Brent As an HLTA working in the Upper School you will be committed to inclusive education by working in mainstream classes, delivering high-quality support and intervention.You will also be expected to collaborate with families and other professionals to ensure exceptional care for students with EHCPs who have specific medical needs such as diabetes or a visual impairment, for example.
We are looking to appoint an HLTA with good literacy, numeracy and communication skills as well as someone who shows initiative and flexibility, and is able to relate to students from 11 to 18 years of age.We are particularly keen to hear from someone who holds HLTA status and has experience of working with people who have medical needs.

teaching staff, outside agencies etc.)
