We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our team at Hillingdon Manor School, part of Options Autism.
About the Role This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to contribute to the education and development of pupils with Autism and complex needs.
As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting teachers in delivering the school's curriculum framework, working collaboratively with colleagues, and providing high-quality educational services to pupils.
Key Responsibilities To provide a high-quality education service to pupils, complementing the teachers' delivery of the school's curriculum framework.
To undertake activities with individuals, groups, or classes of pupils to facilitate their physical, emotional, and educational development within a safe environment.
To carry out pre-determined educational activities and work programmes, ensuring specific guidelines are followed while promoting independent learning.
To help pupils make progress in a range of classroom settings, ensuring all pupils have equal access to opportunities to learn and develop.
To contribute to the preparation and planning of lessons, including developing resources and opportunities for pupils to learn in school and out-of-school contexts.
To prepare and deliver vocational lessons and deliver specific interventions to pupils.
To provide detailed verbal and written feedback on lesson content, pupil responses to learning activities, and pupil behaviour to teachers and students.
To use behaviour management strategies, in line with the school's policy and procedures, to contribute to a purposeful learning environment.
Requirements We are looking for an individual with: Experience of working in an SEN environment.
Experience of working with young people with Autism (highly desirable).

Salary The estimated salary for this role is £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
