I am currently looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our primary phase team.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting students learning and development while working in partnership with class teachers.
Key Responsibilities: Provide cover for teacher absences as required.
Support teaching and learning under the guidance of class teachers.
Assist in the management and organisation of the classroom and pupils.
Run small group interventions aimed at closing learning gaps or supporting SEND/SEMH needs.
Help create and maintain a purposeful and supportive learning environment.
Ensure all pupils are included and have equal access to learning opportunities.
Safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people.
Encourage positive behaviour in line with the academys policies.
Monitor and record pupil progress, resolving minor issues independently.
What they're Looking For: The ideal candidate will be a motivated individual with excellent communication skills, capable of building strong relationships with both students and staff.
You should be able to convey authority, act decisively, and manage situations fairly and consistently.
Essential Skills and Qualifications: A Level or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification GCSEs in English and Maths (Grade C or above) Strong literacy and numeracy skills Sound judgement, particularly when dealing with confidential information IT proficiency and willingness to learn new systems Experience working with young people is desirable, as is an understanding of how students learn or teaching experience Why Join?
