We are looking for a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to work part-time, supporting a young boy with SEND on a picturesque farm just north of Leeds City.

The Role: As an HLTA, you will: Provide personalized 1:1 support to a young boy with SEND, focusing on his educational and emotional development.
Work closely with the student to manage learning challenges , such as attention, sensory needs, and emotional regulation, in a calm and supportive manner.
Help deliver tailored learning activities , utilizing the farm environment to engage the student and support his growth.
Implement strategies to enhance communication skills , promote independence, and build confidence.
Collaborate with parents, teachers, and external professionals to ensure a holistic approach to his education.
Create a nurturing and structured routine, using farm-based activities to support learning and emotional well-being.
What We're Looking For: The ideal candidate will: Hold HLTA status or equivalent qualifications.
Have experience working with children with SEND, particularly autism, ADHD, or sensory processing difficulties.
Be confident in delivering engaging and individualized lessons or interventions.
Demonstrate excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a patient and compassionate approach.
Be enthusiastic about outdoor learning and comfortable working in a farm environment.
