This full-time, permanent position is ideal for a motivated individual who is passionate about supporting children with special educational needs.
Working closely with the teaching team, you will provide essential classroom support, deliver tailored interventions, and assist in managing classroom behaviour to create a positive, inclusive learning environment.
In this role, you will play an essential part in enhancing students' educational experiences, often working one-on-one or in small groups to focus on specific learning needs.
Your role will involve implementing strategies to promote engagement, helping students achieve their personal and academic goals, and ensuring that every child feels supported.

Key Responsibilities: Provide targeted classroom support, ensuring students engage and participate effectively in lessons.
Work one-on-one and in small groups to deliver interventions tailored to individual student needs.
Assist teachers in developing learning resources and adapting lesson plans to meet varying abilities.
Promote positive behaviour, manage classroom dynamics, and support emotional and social development.
Participate in planning meetings and contribute to the monitoring and evaluation of students' progress.
Encourage and support student independence and resilience within the classroom and school community.
Qualifications and Experience: Experience working within a Special School or with children with additional needs is desirable.
A Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) qualification or equivalent experience is preferred.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external professionals.
