Role: Higher Level Teaching Assistant Location : Glossop Salary : £28,000 - £30,000 Hours : 8am - 4pm Monday to Friday About the Role This job opportunity for a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant at our Client's Independent School is ideal for someone passionate about making a difference in the lives of vulnerable young people.
The role requires a dedicated individual who can deliver quality education across various subjects and engage with students on a one-to-one basis, supporting them in overcoming social, emotional, and behavioural challenges.
This role also involves working closely with care staff and senior education professionals to provide personalised learning experiences.
Key Responsibilities: Deliver tailored learning and teaching under the guidance of senior staff.
Communicate regularly with education and care teams to address each student's needs.
Work across multiple sites and within the community as part of the school's education offering.
Safeguard and promote the welfare of the children and young people at all times.

Requirements: Relevant Level 3 teaching assistant qualification or above.
Experience in the wider KS2 curriculum and engaging with reluctant learners.
Ability to manage challenging behaviour and relate well to young people.
Understanding of the national curriculum and experience using various educational tools.
Valid UK work eligibility and a manual driving license.
