High Voltage Estimator

High Voltage Estimator – working for a very large nationwide electrical company.
Job comes with car allowance – up to £65,000 pa (PAYE) All applicants MUST have a full driving license £65,000 per annum - (PAYE) Monday to Friday days Working in areas such across the M4 corridor (Bristol, Bath, Swindon, Reading) Hybrid position Main Duties: Providing accurate take offs and maintaining a high level of competency when preparing prime cost estimates.
Developing Value Engineering Proposals and providing innovation where applicable.
Competently using Trimble Contract Master for preparing estimates.
Managing client and key stakeholder requests in a professional and timely manner.
Essential Requirements: Experience on substations works (DNO & Private) and associated equipment i.e.
switchgear, cabling, earthing works, new / replacement transformers, protection and controls.
Knowledge of various HV installations ranging from 11kV - 132kV.
HV & Windfarm Infrastructure upgrades / new installations experience.
HV Cable installation and jointing works experience Civils works - understanding of trenching, backfilling, plant and equipment requirements for projects and accurate vetting of quotations from supply chain partners.
Staff Management and Delivery team requirements on site.
HV Testing & Commissioning Ideally have design and build capability with the ability to evaluate design scope gaps on tenders.
