High School Cover Supervisor

Taskmaster Resources Ltd are looking for an experienced Cover Supervisor for a new permanent role at a large 11-16 High School Academy in Huddersfield.
Mon-Fri, term time + 5 days The Cover Supervisor will work under the guidance of our teaching staff to support students as individuals or in small groups both in and out of the classroom.
The role will also involve the supervision of whole classes during teacher absence.
As a Cover Supervisor you will cover lessons of any subject.
As a key part of your role, you will be required to set high expectations; motivating and challenging students whilst managing behaviour effectively and promoting a positive learning environment.
Ideally you will have had previous experience in this field, or, alternatively, you might have worked as a Teaching Assistant and be ready for the next step.
This could be the ideal opportunity for someone wanting to gain experience in a classroom before embarking on a career as a teaching professional.
Whatever your circumstances, you must have a passion and enthusiasm for working with secondary school students and you must be motivated by the desire to help pupils develop and inspire them to realise their full potential.
