(High Salary) Control Systems Engineer

We are looking for a Control Systems engineer who will be focusing on fuel-efficient powertrain systems including motorsport, rail and drones for a cutting edge engineering consultancy.
TECHNICAL RESPONSIBILITIES: - Control System Architecture: Design vehicle-level control systems for reliability and safety.
- Safety and Risk Management: Perform safety analysis and integrate risk mitigation into design.
- Embedded Software Development: Develop real-time control software for embedded applications.
- System Modelling and Simulation: Create and apply models for system functionality and testing.
- Test Rig Management: Develop, control, and validate test rigs.
- Validation and Documentation: Conduct testing, calibration, and maintain thorough documentation.
REQUIRED SKILLS: - Software Proficiency: Skilled in MATLAB, Simulink, C/C++, and Visual Studio.
- Data and Simulation: Competent in modelling, data generation, logging, and analysis.
- Vehicle Architecture and Communication: Knowledgeable in vehicle systems, CAN/LIN protocols, and tools like PEAK, CANalyzer.
- Safety Protocols: Experienced in FMEA, HazOP, and PC applications (Word, Excel, Visio, Project).
PROJECT MANAGEMENT ABILITIES: - Project Planning: Oversee timelines, technical planning, and resources.
- Supplier and Client Relations: Manage suppliers and maintain client communication.
- Reporting: Prepare and present updates for stakeholders.
ADDITIONAL SKILLS: - Electronics and Systems Knowledge: Familiarity with circuit design, mechanical and thermal systems.
- ISO26262 and Quality Standards: Awareness of automotive safety standards and quality management.
