Job Role:            HGV Technician Location:            Stoke Pay:                     £39,000 Shift:                   M-F Days 8am – 5pm (40 hrs) Contract:            Full time Permanent role Benefits:             Excellent pension scheme (match contributions upto 10%), sick pay, paid breaks, 25 days holiday + statutory , free onsite parking, subsidised onsite canteen, car salary sacrifice scheme, cycle to work scheme + more      HGV Technician opportunity Join our team as an HGV Technician and play a vital role in maintaining the safety and efficiency of our fleet of circa 50 vehicles (DAF & Iveco) to include some trailers and forklifts.
Your skills in diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicles according to our scheduled procedures will be key to our success HGV Technician duties Perform repairs to meet or exceed VOSA standards.
Adhere to established safety, environmental, and maintenance procedures.
Collaborate with the VMU Shift Coordinator, FLM, and Logistics team to ensure vehicle availability aligns with delivery schedules.
Maintain vehicles and other fleet assets in accordance with Company and VOSA standards.
HGV Technician qualifications/experience required Able to work a  M-F straight day shift of 8am – 5pm industry recognised qualifications (NVQ or City & Guilds) or be time served on heavies In return, we offer a competitive salary and a contributory pension scheme.
