Hgv Mechanic

We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated HGV Mechanic to join our client in Cheltenham..
Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HGVs, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
Conduct diagnostic tests to identify mechanical issues and determine appropriate solutions.
Carry out inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure vehicles comply with safety and regulatory standards.
Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely and efficient service.
Provide emergency roadside assistance as needed.
Keep up-to-date with the latest industry standards and technologies.
Requirements: Proven experience as an HGV Mechanic or similar role.
Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems.
Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment effectively.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Valid HGV license preferred.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if necessary.
