Class 1 HGV Driver Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our logistics team.
In partnership with our trusted client, is seeking experienced and ambitious Class 1 HGV drivers to join a dynamic team in Bellshill.
This role offers competitive pay, consistent shifts, and the potential for long-term employment in a growing industry Shifts Available: * Day Shift * Backshift * Night Shift Duties * Operate a lorry in a safe and responsible manner, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.
* Safely operate Class 1 HGV vehicles for the transportation of goods and materials.
* Perform store deliveries, changeovers, and trunking.
* Occasionally assist with handballing as required.
* Conduct routine pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
* Adhere to safety regulations, company policies, and driving laws at all times.
* Complete necessary paperwork and logbooks accurately.
Qualifications & Experience Required: * A valid Class 1 HGV license.
* Minimum 1 year of HGV driving experience (2 years preferred).
* A clean driving record with no more than 6 penalty points (insurance requirements).
* Proven experience in trunking and long-haul driving.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Ability to perform vehicle checks and comply with safety standards.
