IMMEDIATE LONG TERM POSITOIONS FOR BULK INTER DEPOT PARCEL COMPANY - NO DOORSTEP/COMMERCIAL DELIVERIES WORKING FROM EUROCENTRAL DEPOT HOLYTOWN 15.30/Hour Including Holiday pay WEEKLY PAY EACH FRIDAY 22/HOUR OVERTIME Max 6 POINTS - NO DR/DD/INS MINIMUM 6 MONTHS CLASS 2 EXPERIENCE These are long term ongoing positions NOT Day to Day Hires Temporary to Permanent Full Time Transfer is also on offer Duties Operate Class 2 Box Van/ lorries to transport goods to various locations all Runs are Inter Depot or to HUBS Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
Self Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing of all items for transport.
Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required by company policy.
Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, representing the company positively.
Experience Proven experience as a Commercial Driver, with a valid HGV licence.
Experience in flatbed driving is highly desirable.
Previous roles as a Delivery Driver will be considered an advantage.
Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices for transporting goods.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet delivery deadlines.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
