\n We are recruiting Terberg Shunters with a HGV Class 1 licence for ongoing work at a leading logistics company based in Wigan.

\n Role Overview: \n As a Shunter, you will be responsible for trailer movements in a busy haulage yard.
\n Hours & Shift Patterns \n \n 4 on 4 off shift pattern \n Working 1900 - 0700 \n Paid Breaks \n \n Pay: \n \n Mon - Sat 18.50p/h - £22p/h \n Sunday £19p/h - £23p/h \n Overtime after 48 Hours £20.97 - £23.97 \n PAYE and Umbrella \n \n Benefits \n \n Both Temporary and Permanent opportunities \n Rolling 6 week rota - long term work planned in advance \n New fleet of vehicles \n \n Duties: \n \n Using a Terberg or a HGV Class 1 Unit to move trailers in a busy haulage yard \n Moving both box and double deck trailers on to bays for loading \n Parking trailers when not in use \n Working with a team of shunters to ensure the trailers are moved ready for loading \n \n Skills & Experience: \n \n HGV Class 1 Driving Licence, CPC & Digi Card \n Previous shunting experience using a Terberg is preferred \n No more than 6 points for minor endorsements \n Experience with Double Deck Trailers would be an advantage but not essential \n \n How to Apply: To apply for this role, call the Recruitment Team on 0151 420 1219 or register with us.
