HGV Class 1 Drivers Based Coventry Ongoing - Monday to Friday Start times between 11:00pm-4:00am Pay Rates: £18.30 plus holiday pay Driver Require are recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers for a leading logistics company based in Coventry dealing with international freight, domestic haulage, e-commerce and distribution services.
The role as an HGV Class 1 driver will include: Carrying out daily checks on the vehicle you are assigned for a job.
Completing minor repairs to the vehicles where necessary and appropriate to do so.
Reporting any damage, defects, or wear-and-tear to the Transport Team Driving a Class 1 Lorry to and from the docks, customer locations, and between Depots.
Liaising with Customers Liaising with the Transport Team to ensure that they are kept appraised of the status of your delivery and whereabouts Effectively managing your driving time so that you don't acquire infringements.
HGV Class 1 Driver requirements: Must have 12 months HGV / Class 1 Driver experience Maximum 3 points on licence with no major convictions (DD/DR/IN10's) Have a Rhides Card HGV Class 1 Driver with fantastic earning potential.
