Hgv Class1 Driver

Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and reliable HGV Class 1 driver for a night temp-to-perm position.
This role is crucial in ensuring the timely delivery of goods while adhering to all safety and regulatory requirements.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent driving skills, a strong commitment to safety, and the ability to manage time effectively.
This will driving a double deck LST trailer trunking, 1 or 2 runs per night.
Duties: * Operate HGV Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently during night shifts.
* Ensure timely delivery of goods to designated locations while following planned routes.
* Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
* Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any issues encountered during transit.
* Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies regarding safety and compliance.
Requirements * Valid HGV Class 1 driving licence with 2 years experience and no more than 6 penalty points.
* Previous experience in a similar driving role is preferred.
* Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries within scheduled routes.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team when required.
This is TEMP-TO -PERM position with contract after 12 weeks!!!
Start times are between 17:00 - 19:00, working 11-13 hours per shift.
Monday to Friday!!!!
