Hgv Class 1 Driver

StaffCo Direct are acting as an employment business and actively recruiting for Class 1 drivers on days and nights for a company based in Knowsley.
We are looking for highly motivated qualified day and night Class 1 driver with valid licenses, who can take on the company's ethos and assist us in the support of our client's day-to-day operation.
Remuneration: Monday to Friday AM – £21.80 Monday to Friday PM – £22.90 *Please note that the above are umbrella assignment rates* Job Role: To complete a full 2 day paid induction.
Day 1 is classroom based including theory, SSOW & company procedures.
Day 2 is buddying with an FTE driver.
Work is mainly Monday to Friday with weekend overtime throughout their peak periods.
AM work is store deliveries with PM work being trunking.
Average shift length is 10 hours.
Experience/Skills & Competencies: HGV1/ LGV1 UK-issued License is required (Must have license for at least 24 months) Current and Valid CPC and Digi Tacho No more than 6 penalty points (no IN DR or DD codes) Experience driving container loaded trailers Excellent knowledge of the UK road network Great communication skills Professional attitude Other benefits of working for StaffCo Direct include: Online payslips Weekly pay Ongoing assignments Flexible working patterns Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous upon application of this role.
