Hgv Class 1 Driver

StaffCo Direct are operating as an employment business and actively recruiting for Class 1 drivers for a company based in Burton on Trent.
New Pass & LTD Drivers Welcome We are looking for highly motivated Class 1 drivers with valid licenses, who can take on the company s ethos and assist us in the support of our client s day-to-day operation.
Remuneration (LTD RATES): Monday to Friday Days - £18.50 Saturday - £20.25 Sunday - £21.25 Responsibilities: This will involve delivering curtainside trailers nationwide.
Some drops may include handball however most are forklift off.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or delays Start times between 04:00 & 06:00 Monday to Saturday and 15:00 & 18:00 on a Sunday.
We require 6 Class 1 drivers Monday to Saturday on AM shifts and 5 Class 1 drivers to work every Sunday evening.
Experience/Skills & Competencies: HGV1/ LGV1 UK-issued License is required (Must have license for at least 3 months) Current and Valid CPC and Digi Tacho No more than 6 penalty points (no IN DR or DD codes) Experience driving container loaded trailers Excellent knowledge of the UK road network Great communication skills Professional attitude Other benefits of working for StaffCo Direct include: Online payslips Weekly pay Ongoing assignments Flexible working patterns Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous upon application of this role.
