This role will involve: - Local delivery and collection of Automotive parts - Local sequence deliveries from manufacturing facility into plant - Some distance deliveries to and from other suppliers / manufacturers - Typical start times between 05:00 - 07:00 on days - 8-10 hour shifts (Minimum 9 paid / Inc 1 hour Overtime) - No Handball - Weekend work available at inflated pay rates - Sites based in Solihull & North Birmingham Successful HGV Class 1 Drivers will: - Have at least 6 months C+E experience - Have no more than 6 points for minor offenses (No DDs, DRs or CDs) - Hold valid CPC card and Digital Tachograph card HGV Class 1 Drivers PAYE rates of pay: Monday to Friday days £14.24 per hour (Hours 06:00-18:00) Overtime after 8 hours per shift between £21.36 - £24.92 per hour Guaranteed 9 hours per shift (1 hours overtime daily) Mandatory assessments are involved which will include: - Written test (Excellent knowledge of Driving hours, Tacho laws and Highway Code required) - Full site and safe systems of work induction - Vehicle familiarisation - Practical driving assessment Working for Pertemps, you will benefit from: - Weekly or Monthly pay via BACS (PAYE) - Free Uniform - Access to driver training including CPC - Dedicated local consultants - 24/7 contact PLEASE CLICK APPLY!
