We are looking for Support Workers to join our team based within our Respite and Residential homes in Stratford Upon Avon.
Our residential property is the home of 2 lovely residents who have Learning Disabilities and require some support with daily living tasks.
Our customers enjoy a range of hobbies and activities ranging from gardening, horse riding, arts and crafts, dancing and are all fond of going out for meals at the local pub.
Our thriving respite home offers a 'home from home' environment for customers.
Our ethos is to encourage independence and social relationships.
Respite can often be our customers first experience away from home so it's a great opportunity to learn new skills and develop their skills in a safe and supported way.
We encourage our customers to access the community with activities such as cycling, swimming, shopping and days out and we are looking for new team members to share this passion.
Within both properties, our sleep in shifts typically start from around 3pm where you may spend some time supporting our customers with their afternoon and evening routine.
You might be required to prepare meals with our customers or maybe just some encouragement and support for them to do so themselves, it could also include assisting with grooming/personal care and washing/dressing.
Our sleep ins are paid competitively at £70.47 per sleep in (between 11pm - 7am).
A typical morning could then include helping our customers to get up, dressed and prepared for the day before finishing your shift at around 10am.
Our day shift patterns within this service include: 8am - 3pm or 3pm - 9pm during the week and 10am - 6pm on weekends.
Some previous care experience is preferred however full training will be provided - after all, good care comes from the HEART .
