Thecore hours of work are 08:30 - 17:00 across a 7 day week however there may be arequirement to work extended hours dependent on service demands.
You must be acar driver and have access to a vehicle.Toapply you must be able to demonstrate the essential criteria stipulated in theperson specification:Trainingwill be available and candidates will be supported with an induction and apersonal development plan.
Full support will be given to those withoutcommunity experience to gain the necessary skills required.It is a condition of employment that all Healthcare Assistants must complete the Care Certificate and achieve their competencies within 14 weeks of commencing in post.Previous applicants need not apply.

Main duties of the job You will work within a Community Integrated Team consisting ofDistrict Nursing Staff, Community Practitioners, Specialist Nurses for OlderPeople, Social Services and third sector organisations.
You will work under the direction /supervision of a registered nurse delivering high quality nursing care topatients within the community setting including residential homes.You must also beable to meet the travel requirements of the post and be a car owner and driver.Soif you are a dynamic and enthusiastic nurse who would like to work in thechallenging but hugely rewarding setting of the community this may be the rolefor you.

Person Specification Qualifications Essential NVQ level 3 in Health and Social care/or on a pathway to achieve/ demonstrate equivalent skills and experience.
Good standard of general education including Maths and English at level 1 or above (GCSE A G or equivalent).
