Job overview To assist in caring for patients on the day of discharge from hospital from all specialities in the hospital Main duties of the job To assist registered nurses in caring for patients on the day of discharge from hospital .To provide all aspects of care following ward care plans To provide nutrition and diet To ensure taht all patients are comfortable and reassured To answer the telephone and relay messages to the Ward Co Ordinator To communicate all care and concerns to the relevant nurse Monitor observations ( training will be provided ) Working for our organisation Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is one of the largest NHS teaching trusts in the country.
