The postholderwill be a key member of the practice team, responsible for undertaking patienthealth checks inc. BP / ECG monitoring / height and weight, taking bloodsamples, health and wellbeing advice and promotion.

Person Specification Knowledge Essential Minimum 1 years experience in Health Care Assistant Role Clinical decision making Evidence Based Practice Multi-professional/agency working Skills Essential Good interpersonal skills Good oral and written communication skills Good organisational skills Ability to work within a team Ability to work alone Ability to manage situations and environments Self-motivated, mature and enthusiastic Qualifications Essential Evidence of Higher education pathway (NVQ level 2/3 in Primary Care) Evidence of Continuing Professional Development Personal Qualities Essential Able to work well under pressure and deliver to tight timescales.
Well organised Proficient verbal and written communication skills to individuals at all levels within and outside of the organisation Strong work ethic as part of a team and working on your own initiative.
Able to respond effectively to changing priorities.
Logical and systematic in work processes.
