Job summary Working full time and part time hours Under supervision and direction of the Registered Nurse assist in delivery of the safe, high quality care to all patients.
The successful applicant will provide information to enable the effectiveness of care to be evaluated and records maintained.
You will involve patients and carers/relatives in the delivery of care and provide reassurance support to patients and carers/family.
You will work collaboratively with others on the Unit and recognise and respond appropriately to urgent and emergency situations.
The successful applicant will provide escort and transfer for patients, with low dependency, as directed by Registered Nurse and ensure the effective and efficient use of resources Main duties of the job Maintain health, safety and security and report any concern(s).Maintain equipment ready for use and report faulty equipment.Maintain accurate records of order/delivery notes in designated clinical areas.Communicate with other departments within the Trust and outside agencies as appropriate.Ensure compliance with policies, procedures and clinical guidelines for self and others.Report any concerns regarding patient care.
