Main duties of the job Southern Health is well known for its creative approach in supporting our communities, children and families with great innovations including ChatHealth, our Text Messaging Advice Service; the Parent Portal, an interactive web-based information hub for parents, and our partnership with Barnardo's which offers community-based public health programmes.
We are proud of having achieved BFI accreditation at gold standard.We're looking for a qualified Health Visitor (NMC registered) with an inspirational and motivational personality who is highly skilled in communication, with a strong approach to teamwork.
The individual will be someone who can lead delivery of the Healthy Child Programme, especially the 6 High Impact Areas, using evidence-based practice.
Working as a team player, your role will require excellent assessment skills and effective partnership working to develop preventative community-based approaches and personalised care to support to the local population.We are committed to ensuring that our values are the foundation of everything we do.
