We have full and part time Health Visitor positions based in Lincoln, Gainsborough, East Lindsey North (Louth, Mablethorpe & Alford), East Lindsey South (Horncastle, Skegness, Tattershall, Coningsby) Boston and Spalding.
Main duties of the job The Health Visitor role is crucial in identification of health needs of children and families.
Your knowledge and experience will be essential for the delivery of evidence based intervention, caring for children and families with a restorative approach.
You will be delivering care within a defined population, which also involves managing vulnerable children and families and working collaboratively within the safeguarding arena.To join us as a Health Visitor you must be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council and possess or be working towards, a Specialist Community Public Health Nurse qualification.You will need to have;exemplary communication skillsthe ability to work within a multi-agency arena.The ability to support and motivate othersIf you are motivated, intrinsically passionate to support children and families and wish to work in an organisation with is actively engaged with our comprehensive multi-agency team then we would be most pleased to receive your application.We are a progressive service and are keen to support our Health Visitors to be included or lead innovation and service improvement.

Job description Job responsibilities To Deliver and evaluate an efficient and cost effective Health Visiting service for an identified population.
Delivering the national and local public health agendas in response to identified health and social need.
Working in partnership with other agencies including GPs and Early Help to meet agreed standards, objectives and statutory requirements to keep children healthy and safe.
Managing vulnerable caseloads, attending safeguarding, child protection and other professional meetings where appropriate.
Assisting as appropriate in providing an integrated approach to performance management, quality standards and service delivery within the 0-6 Childrens Health Service Delivering new ways of working using evidence based practice.
Maintaining strong, positive working relationships with other services/ agencies and professionals aligned to the 0-6 Children's Health Service.
