Role Overview: As the Interim Health & Safety Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing health and safety across multiple manufacturing sites, reporting directly to the Operations Director.
Your primary responsibility is to ensure a safe working environment by preventing accidents and ensuring compliance with all legal obligations, particularly Health and Safety Executive (HSE) regulations.
You will provide leadership, guidance, and support to foster a culture of safety within the organisation.
Responsibilities: * Policy Development and Implementation: Develop, implement, and continuously improve comprehensive health and safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal requirements and industry best practices.
* Training and Guidance: Provide ongoing training and guidance to employees on health and safety protocols, ensuring thorough understanding and strict adherence to standards.
* Collaboration and Integration: Work closely with other managers to integrate health and safety considerations into operational planning, equipment usage, and work processes to promote a proactive safety culture.
