As a Lidl Health and Safety Manager working within our Trading Compliance department, you'll be part of a team responsible for all aspects of Health & Safety across our network of stores, warehouses and offices.
From investigating accidents, to advising Head Office stakeholders on new legislation and regulatory matters, your knowledge will be essential to make Lidl the supermarket of choice for our customers and employees.

Please note as per Lidl internal structures, your job title will be Consultant.
What you'll doDeal with a wide range of regulatory and operational processes and issues (for example, accident investigations, food hygiene, statutory noise complaints, fire safety etc.
)Provide guidance on relevant topics and reactive support to maintain Lidl at the forefront of regulatory complianceEnsure that risk assessments and internal procedures remain current, compliant and effectiveDevelop corporate policy and test new initiatives and proceduresProvide support to key decision makers and influence projects to ensure health and safety is at the forefront of decision makingConduct site visits and inspections across our stores, warehouses and offices to ensure the necessary levels of understanding and compliance are in placeProduce, evaluate, and issue various analysis and performance reportsUndertake incident and accidents investigationsRepresent and support the company during local authority contactLiaise with external service providers to ensure the highest levels of service and statutory complianceWhat you'll needA relevant degree (e.g.
Environment Health) with relevant experience or working towards the NEBOSH Diploma or similar with relevant experienceExperience working within a multi-site retail or warehousing environment is highly beneficialSound knowledge of UK Health & Safety LegislationMembership of a relevant industry body (e.g.
