An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a Health and Safety Consultant to join a Stoke on Trent based consultancy on a full-time basis, to deliver Health and Safety Consultancy / CDM Principal Designer / Advisory and other related projects across a wide range of commercial, public and infrastructure clients.

Responsibilities: Providing high level health and safety consultancy services and associated reporting, presentations and management information to a diverse client base. Providing up to date industry advice and support regarding health and safety regulations to clients. Delivering CDM coordination services and other CDM / H&S projects. Delivering health and safety training and workshops/awareness sessions. Undertaking H&S audits on client sites including evidence of successful implementation. Managing the initial set up of a bespoke safety management system from implementation to supporting the client with ongoing updates. Skills and Attributes: Self-starter, driven, innovative and a creative problem solver, with excellent written and verbal communication skills and be confident in giving presentations in a client facing environment. Confident working alone and unsupervised and to tight deadlines. NEBOSH qualified or member of IOSH or equivalent qualification is essential. You will have a good understanding of CDM2015 regulations. Working knowledge of Microsoft packages (Word, Excel and Outlook). Full UK driving license and use of own vehicle. You will be working 8.00am – 5.00pm, Monday to Friday, from the Stoke office and from various client sites around the UK. Occasional overnight stays may be required, but very rarely.
