Health & Safety Co Ordinator Alpine Formula 1 Team have an excellent opportunity to join our busy Health &; Safety team as Health & Safety Co Ordinator.
The Role Working with the Health & Safety Manager to deliver a first class service to the team.
You'll be responsible for ensuring that employees comply with safety legislation and that our safety policies and practices are adopted and adhered to.
Key accountabilities for this role are: Record and monitor accidents, incidents, near misses, hazards, and property damage in conjunction with the Health and Safety Manager Support and assist thorough investigations for accidents and incidents and ensure follow-up of any corrective action is undertaken Work with Department Heads across all functions throughout the business to create and modify risk assessments with guidance from the Health and Safety Manage Maintain and develop the H&S management system Be-Safe on an ongoing basis Work with department heads across production departments to catalogue all chemicals to create a COSHH register and then to create COSHH risk assessments (RA) all under the guidance of the Health and Safety Manager Conduct weekly site inductions for all new starters following a set format to ensure full health and safety instructions are covered.
Arrange, book and manage refreshers for training sessions for the team Liaise with our occupational health provider to arrange health screening sessions Maintain confidentiality due to the sensitive nature of this role The Person You will have a passion for health and safety and building key relationships internally to drive our Health & Safety strategy.
You will be proactive with a confident approach to the key accountabilities of the role.
Attention to detail is key, with a desire to complete all tasks to a high standard.
Previous experience in a similar role is desirable along with a NEBOSH general certificate or equivalent experience.
Ability to learn and use a range of IT systems is a requirement with strong proficiency in the MS suite of applications.
