Health, Safety and Wellbeing Advisor - Permanent - Kent, UK - £ Excellent package
One of the UK's leading ports is recruiting for a Health, Safety and Wellbeing Advisor to join the team in Kent.

Reporting to the Head of Health, Safety and Wellbeing, the Company is looking for an experienced practitioner to join the team.

The successful candidate will have responsibility for ensuring compliance with Health, Safety and Wellbeing requirements by providing competent advice to departmental managers, safety representatives and staff.

Other key responsibilities will include (but not exhaustive to);
Provide health and safety advice to departments, ensuring team involvement in H&S meetings and campaigns, assist with RAMS reviews, work task briefings, and toolbox talks.
Prepare processes to meet ISO45001 requirements.
Conduct workplace inspections and audits to promote safe practices and perform workplace assessments (e.g., noise, display screens).
Develop and deliver health, safety, and wellbeing campaigns, and attend and contribute to HS&W and principal committee meetings.
Work with departments to maintain and undertake a rolling program of workplace inspections and audits.
Assist in providing required reports on accidents to the HSE or MAIB.
The successful candidate will have a IOSH membership (or equivalent) hold a NEBOSH general certificate (NVQ Level4) and have working knowledge of ISO 45001.

You will have internal auditing experience and experience of working in high-risk environments such as lifting operations, confined space etc.
You will have a full clean driving licence.
