The Role They are looking for a proactive and dedicated individual who is passionate about health and safety policies and procedures to join the Trust!
You will play a vital role in ensuring health and safety policies and procedures are kept up to date and compliant across the Trust.
The successful candidate will work closely with Site Managers and external stakeholders to manage the essential maintenance of buildings and services to comply with legal requirements.
This role will involve travelling to schools within the Trust.
Key Responsibilities To provide valuable and comprehensive health and safety support across the schools.
Contribute to the successful health, safety and compliance standards by implementing a continuous improvement approach to benefit the schools.
To identify key areas of training needs and support managers with the appropriate training.
Promote a positive health and safety culture across the Trust.
Skills and Qualifications Experience of working in a Health & Safety role (minimum of 2 years).
IOSH Managing Safety Certificate NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent Experience of auditing and reporting in a health, safety and compliance environment.
Experience of formulating, implementing and revising Health & Safety strategies, policies and procedures.
