The Opportunity The Consultant in Health Economics & Outcomes Research (HEOR) is responsible for delivering high-quality health economic modelling, outcomes research, and value communication material to support market access strategies for clients within the pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device sectors.
Your responsibilities will include project delivery, project management, client engagement, and business development.
Key Responsibilities Lead the development of health economic models (e.g., cost-effectiveness models, budget-impact models) from concept to completion, ensuring technical accuracy and quality.
Conduct systematic literature reviews and analyse clinical data packages, including real-world evidence to support model inputs.
Create technical reports, manuscripts, dossiers, and value communication material to effectively communicate data, economic models, and product value to diverse audiences.
Develop reimbursement strategies and dossiers for submission to health technology assessment (HTA) agencies globally (e.g., NICE, CADTH).
Project management, including task and workload management to ensure that deliverables are on time and to the expected quality standards Collaborate as part of a project team to ensure that deliverables are aligned to project objectives and agreed scope Manage client relationships, ensuring timely delivery of projects and meeting client expectations.
Contribute to the development of business opportunities by supporting proposal development and pitches.
Stay current with advancements in health economics, modelling techniques, and HTA processes.
About You Minimum: Postgraduate degree in Health Economics, Public Health, Biostatistics, or a related field (MSc or PhD preferred).
3-5 years of experience in health economics modelling, HTA submissions, and outcomes research, preferably within a consultancy, pharmaceutical, or biotech environment.
Proven experience in developing health economic models, including cost-effectiveness and budget-impact models.
Experience in developing HTA submissions for various markets (e.g., NICE, CADTH, SMC).
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Proficiency in Excel (advanced) and VBA; knowledge of R or STATA is an advantage.
