Job summary We are looking for a Band 2 Health Care Assistant who will work within the Sexual Health and HIV to include chaperone for procedures, assisting with STI screening and supporting HIV clinics.
Full training will be given to the right candidate.
Phlebotomy skills essential.
Experience of working in a sexual health clinic is desirable.
Main duties of the job You will need to have basic numeracy and literacy skills, must have a non-judgmental attitude, will thrive in a challenging environment, demonstrates a willingness to learn, will be a self-motivated role model and an excellent communicator with good time-management and team-building skills.
Experience of working in sexual health or possession of an NVQ level 2 or 3 would be an advantage.
Must have a full driving license and be a car owner.
