Job summary An exciting opportunity to join our team has arisen for an enthusiastic experienced Health Care Assistant to join our highly motivated team at are a rapidly expanding practice committed to providing an excellent service to our patient population and have strong working relationship with the military veterans and military families in our area.The job role is to support the clinical team in performing general healthcare assistant duties including phlebotomy, ECG, BP readings and assisting in minor surgery and the processing of clinical samples.
Main duties of the job 1.
To collect blood samples as requested bymedical staff from patients by venepuncture to enable appropriate tests to becarried out.2.
To ensure all protocols for handling,labelling and documenting specimens are adhered to.3.
To ensure delivery of specimens toappropriate laboratories.4.
To enter details as required on toPractice patient records system.
