Job description Job responsibilities To assist the clinical team in the service and delivery of care to the practice population.
The post holder will work under the supervision of the senior nurse undertaking tasks and duties delegated by the clinical team.They will need to work collaboratively with the general practice team to meet the needs of the patients, ensuring that practice policies and procedures are followed.Flexibility is paramount to cover GP extended access including early mornings, evenings and Saturdays on a rota basis.
There will be an expectation to commit to additional hours during Flu season to support the practice flu campaign.A driving licence and access to your own vehicle to use as and when required is desirable.The applicant will be subject to the enhanced disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and barring service (formerly known as CRB check) for any previous convictions.
Person Specification Qualifications Essential GCSE - Grade A- C in English and Maths - or equivalent Desirable Qualified in Phlebotomy Blood pressure recording Wound Care Vaccinations including Flu and B12 Experience Essential Experience of working as a Health Care Assistant.
Desirable Experience of working as a Health Care Assistant in Primary Care Experience of using Clinical SystmOne car driver and and access to own vehicle desirable Experience of working in nursing team.
