Health And Safety Manager

Details of the offer

Due to expansion, we are looking to recruit for an experienced Health and Safey Manager to work onsite within a small production / manufacturing company.
Duties: Lead and support the development and implementation of the Group Health, Safety & Environment Management (HSE) System in line with company expectations HSE requirements for company's sites/businesses including development of local and group policies and procedures Maintenance of records.
Working with designated departments as appropriate.
Support of timely Accident/Incident and Good Save reporting, escalation, investigation and close.
Support the project management of Group initiatives and projects.
Collation and reporting of data and input to management and key stakeholders including for monthly performance meetings and reports.
Support the businesses with regulatory compliance and certification including audits/inspections, responses, and corrective action plans.
Delivery of relevant training requirements.
Skills / Qualifications: Must have 2 years plus experience within a similar role and be able to demonstrable experience within a manufacturing environment.
Relevant qualification in HSE e.g.
NEBOSH and IOSH Certificate.
Good working knowledge of HSE legislation within a Manufacturing environment.
Auditor Certified (e.g.
ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001 or equivalent) desirable.
Experience of auditing and compliance assessment processes desirable.
