Claire Hardisty, who has led Thornbury through many changes over the last 17 years, is moving on to the next stage of her career and therefore we wish to appoint Thornbury's next leader.

The school has further details about the children, staff and the curriculum in place.Key Requirements & Duties• To provide high quality strategic leadership in all aspects of leading a school and inspire skilled and committed staff to deliver high quality provision for all children.• Highly successful experience as a senior leader or headteacher, who can bring about continued improvement, with high expectations and a proven track record of improving outcomes for all children.• Excellent leadership, people and teaching skills, using knowledge of evidence-based research and current successful education strategies.• A good knowledge of SEND and a commitment to inclusive education for children of all abilities and backgrounds.
