As a Headteacher at Avonside School in Bristol, you will have a real impact on the lives of our pupils.
You will provide effective leadership and management of the school, ensuring it meets its aims and objectives and operates within the overall strategy and guidelines of Acorn Education.
We are seeking a candidate with at least three years' experience as a senior leader in a specialist school for pupils with complex communication needs.
A suitable candidate will be qualified with Teacher Status or Equivalent and willing to extend personal and professional development.
The ideal candidate will also have experience of conducting performance management, planning the curriculum across a range of ages and abilities, and appreciate the challenges and opportunities that come with leading a specialist school.
Our new school, Avonside School in Bristol, will have capacity for 72 pupils and is due to open in August 2025.
We're recruiting for a Headteacher to help set up and grow our new school.
The salary for this position is up to £80,000 per annum depending on experience.
About the School Avonside School will be a co-educational provision for pupils with complex needs including SEMH.
