Headteacher (SEN/SEMH Provision) Location: Staffordshire Salary: Up to £70,000 per annum Contract: Permanent, Full-Time Are you a passionate, transformational leader ready to shape the future of a specialist school?
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Headteacher to lead a small but growing SEN/SEMH provision in Staffordshire.
The school currently supports fewer than 20 pupils across Key Stages 1 to 3, with plans to expand and positively impact even more students.
This is a unique opportunity to build on an established foundation and to create an inclusive, nurturing, and ambitious learning environment.
As Headteacher, you will lead our dedicated team in delivering high-quality, individualised education to children and young people with special educational needs, particularly those with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges.
This role requires a visionary and compassionate leader capable of setting high standards, inspiring innovation, and driving school improvement.
You will work closely with staff, pupils, families, and stakeholders to promote a positive culture that supports each student's academic and personal growth.
With our plans to expand, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the school, including increasing enrollment and developing the school's profile as a leading SEN/SEMH provider in the region.
Essential Requirements: Leadership Experience : Minimum of 2 years in a leadership role within an SEN/SEMH specialist setting.
Educational Expertise : Strong understanding of best practices in SEN/SEMH education, especially in Key Stages 1-3.
Transformational Leadership : Proven track record of successful school improvement and capacity-building in an SEN/SEMH environment.
Commitment to Excellence : Passionate about creating a supportive, high-achievement culture for students and staff.
