Headteacher

Job Title: Headteacher At Miller House School, we work together to create a supportive environment for pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health Difficulties.
We are seeking an innovative and experienced Headteacher to lead our new school in Leicester, which will have capacity for 80 pupils aged 11-16 years old.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing effective leadership and management of the school, ensuring it meets its aims and objectives.
About the Role: Lead and develop a new school opening, promoting high-quality learning and delivering pupil educational needs.
Provide a safe and supportive environment that protects the welfare of pupils, staff, and promotes outstanding outcomes.
Meet statutory requirements, achieve highest inspection ratings possible, and drive commercial success through occupancy, cost management, and growth plans.
Promote a shared vision within the overall Acorn Group strategy, inspiring students, staff, and the wider school community.
Requirements: At least three years' experience as a senior leader in a specialist school for pupils with special educational needs.
Qualified Teacher Status or Equivalent.
Willingness to extend personal and professional development.
Ability to lead and provide a clear vision.
Appreciation of the leadership and management processes contributing to pupil outcomes, staff motivation, and safety.
